We had over 90 volunteers from our community respond to the factory explosion in Spring Branch. We boarded up windows and installed tarps on at least 25 homes that had been impacted. We used 100 sheets of plywood in just a few hours on Saturday! The response from our area churches was overwhelming!

In the last 48 hours, the greater Houston area and Southeast Texas was pummeled with rain from Tropical Storm Imelda. The storm has dumped feet of rain in some neighborhoods. We have seen isolated flooding throughout the city and more significant concentrations of flooding to the North, Northeast, and East.
