Imelda Update 9/23

Good Morning,

This weekend The Restoration Team sent out 35 volunteers from five partner churches and assisted six families that were impacted by Imelda. We are slowly getting more and more data and request for assistance from families and we need helping assessing those needs and getting homes move from flooded to dry!

The Restoration Team is working has received information on 40 families that need assistance in the NorthEast neighborhoods of Houston, Our friends with Hope Disaster have been working tirelessly in the Independence heights area and have spoken with 60+ families in that neighbor hood that needs help.

The www.ImeldaSurvey.Com has received 397 families who said they have been impacted. If you know someone or if you were impacted by Imelda go to www.ImeldaSurvey.com to register your damage. You can also call Crisis Cleanup Imelda: (800) 451-1954 to register your damage and request assistance.

The Restoration Team and our partners want to help our neighbors, we need you to sign-up to assist. You can do so by going to www.TherestorationTeam.org/volunteer-1 or contacting us directly Tbarnett@TheRestorationTeam.org

The communities to the East and NorthEast of us have been very hard. Orange County LTRC is reporting over 700 homes flooded, and 200 people in shelters. We are trying to determine the best way to support those communities.

Pray for SE Texas.

Peace,

Trevor
