Betty M's Home

The Restoration Team’s 240th home repaired in December 2019 belongs to Betty. Betty is a wonderfully sweet elderly woman whose home was a delight to repair.

Together we were able to replace the roof, stabilize the foundation, install flooring, remove and replace damaged siding, and paint. Betty’s drywall was installed by the Islamic Circle of North America, and we came right behind them to mud, sand, and paint it. We also replaced a few windows, installed a new bathtub, as well as a new water heater.

31 volunteers spent 171 hours serving on Betty’s home. The total repair cost came out to $14,405.
