Welcome Home Eugene!

Everyone join us in celebrating some good news, Eugene is back home! After three months of repairs, he has finally been able to move back into a safe, functional home.

Eugene has lived in his home all of his life, but years of wear and tear have made accessibility an issue. Eugene lives alone and lives with oxygen. He can walk around from room to room but requires a wheelchair when he is out and about.

Together with our wonderful volunteers and supporters, we have been able to restore Eugene’s bathroom, kitchen floor, siding, bedroom, community room, exterior siding, trim, and roof.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Education Based Housing, Inc. who we partnered on this house as well as Kashmere Gardens Missionary Baptist Church (where Eugene worships) for connecting us to this wonderful family.

Please join us in prayers of thanksgiving and gratefulness for this day we've waited so long for. May God continue to bless Eugene and his family in comfort and safety for years to come.
