#TRT100k Volunteer Spotlight: Linda
To celebrate reaching 100,000 volunteer hours, this week we will be highlighting some of the key volunteers that have helped us achieve this milestone. Today we would like to highlight Linda - a FANTASTIC volunteer who we can always rely on to show hospitality. Linda is our number 1 “Welcome Host” volunteer, she enjoys providing meals and snacks for our out-of-town volunteers to let them know how appreciative we are of them. Linda has touched so many lives of incoming mission and AmeriCorps teams, we’re so grateful for her heart!
A bit about Linda’s involvement:
How did you first get involved with The Restoration Team:
Helping clean out homes after Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Do you have a favorite project/client/experience that you remember while serving with The Restoration Team:
What my family loves most is welcoming out-of-town volunteers and helpers with meals.
What does this ministry mean to you? Why do you keep coming back to serve?
This ministry is something I can do both with my whole family and on my own.
What would you tell someone looking to get involved with our ministry?
There are so many different ways to be involved, it is a great way to do something with your family or a group you enjoy being with.
Thank you Linda for making such an impact on our ministry on and off the worksites. You have touched so many lives!
