Renewing Hope: The Story of the 6th Home on Birmingham Street Restored by TRT
The Restoration Team (TRT) is excited to announce the completion of another successful project on Birmingham Street. The Smith household marks the sixth home on the block that TRT has had the privilege to restore, following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
The Smiths' story began like many others in their community, with their home suffering significant damage from the hurricane. Inspired by the positive transformations TRT had brought to their neighbors, the Smiths reached out for help. TRT, alongside volunteers from Salem Lutheran in Tomball and the Marquette MARDIGRAS student mission trip, worked tirelessly to revive the interior and uplift the external appearance of the Smiths' home.
TRT crew members Dan, Early, and Bobby played crucial roles in making this project a success, embodying the spirit of service and community. This project highlights TRT's commitment to focusing efforts in areas most in need, bringing hope and restoration one home at a time.
The Smiths' home is not just another project for TRT; it symbolizes a milestone in their mission to build stronger, more resilient communities. TRT extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project and looks forward to many more success stories on Birmingham Street.
