Melvin's Home

The Restoration Team completed Melvin’s home in September 2019, this was our 234th completed home repair project.

During Hurricane Harvey, the floodwaters got so high that Melvin sat on his roof while his feet were touching water. This was a complete rebuild with a new foundation, roof, siding, electric, plumbing, insulation, sheetrock, flooring, and cabinets. In total, 117 volunteers from all over the country spent 1,741 hours serving on Melvin’s home. The results were incredible!
